Josh Rubin, a singer/songwriter and producer from Austin, TX, started playing guitar and piano from an early age. He came onto the scene in 2015 and made his way up the ranks of the dance music world as a powerhouse vocalist. In 2022, Josh’s life changed - he moved to LA to attend ICON Collective to further his production skills. While continuously releasing collabs on Monstercat, Seeking Blue, Bassrush, and Welcome Records; his focus has been on his craft, writing and recording music that speaks to the mind of fellow OVRTHNKRS. After releasing his debut electronic EP ‘Playing with Fire’ in the summer of 2023, this marked the beginning of his transition from a vocalist to live DJ. After a successful year of support and headline shows in 2024 Josh has continued to perfect his hybrid DJ sets which he’s brought to cities such as Austin, Los Angeles, Denver, Salt Lake City and more.
